Universal Studios Singapore: Halloween Horror Night 3

Hi guys!! I'm back!!! Did you miss meeeeeeeee? Lol. I've been so busy because school just resumed and I'm a year 3 student now!! Nothing to be excited about.. just flooded with lots of assignments, projects and tests. Can't... breathe... Gonna enjoy every single bits of my last lap in poly before I step into the working world :P.

So last Friday on 1st November 2013, I went to celebrate Halloween with my OPH gang at Universal Studios Singapore, Halloween Horror Night 3! It was kinda a last minute decision, we decided 2 weeks ago while chatting and we just brought up the topic about USS halloween and BAM, we bought tickets and went with it 2 weeks later. My friends damn cool right! 

So if you've wanted to go but missed this chance, READ MY BLOG READ MY BLOG!! Haha. I'll bring you through the entire event to my fullest capabilities but no promises because my photos are quite sucky HAHA. I hadn't really had the chance to explore my camera and make the best out of it.

The queues to collect the tickets were like snake longgggggg and we got bored so xinni and I started taking selfies while the others went to get drinks and snacks.

Was testing my camera and accidentally pressed the shutter. LOL. So this is how i look like when I have no expression on my face.. Quite cute leh. hehe.

After 12931749034012 hours of queueing to get the tickets, finding lockers to place our bags, WE ARE FINALLY READY TO ENTER USS!!!!

Because it's so mainstream to take photo with the USS globe.

I took their entrance instead haha.

 Can you believe he is only 15? And i'm 20. I look like his age when I stand beside him :p. Tell me which part of me looks like 20 seriously!?

One thing to note: THE TALENTS THERE ARE SO HANDSOME. *runs around like a peacock*

I kept going gaga over the handsome ghosts because they kept staring at me with the "i wanna keel you" look but I refuse to believe that that is the reason. I chose to believe it's "You're so cute girl I cant take my eyes off you" HAHA. why my self-esteem so high today... I have no idea.

Another handsome ghost, my oph gang call him "Rinko's Siao eh" haha. So yes, he is my Siao eh! 

This weird looking creature talent was super scary. I looked at him and he suddenly lurched forward with his arms stretched towards me. GOT A SHOCK OF MA LIFE. He looked really ugly.... and scary. Wonder how he did his make up. 

 See the white forming translucent bubble in the photo? People tell me that means REAL GHOST exists and it's the way they try to be in the photo - appearing in photo as bubbles....

I don't know if that's true though :////

OH MY GOD. My stomach is bulging... So now you see, I'm not exactly sticks and bones, I have fat body parts like my tummy and my thighs! I still love myself though haha. Angle problem la, it doesn't look that big in real life T_T.

Queue-ing got too boring so we camho-ed!

There was this area where the staff blew glow in the dark bubbles, we walked past and this was what happened. Super cool effect, I like that USS!!

After conquering USS, we wanted to head out for supper but all of us (except the 15 year olds) were practically dead tired haha so we went home instead! The queue was mad long and you know what, the scariest part of the entire halloween is not about the trails or haunted house BUT TAXI QUEUE WHEN THE EVENT ENDS. holy grail.... waited for a whole hour before we got onto a cab! 

Head home at around 4AM and slept at 6AM. SHO TIRED WORHZX.

So... Some tips if you're intending to go next year...

This year other than just haunted trails, there were also rides such as the mummy ride, transformer and canopy. There is another one which is the dragon ride at 'Far Far Away'.

There were a total of 3 haunted trails, 3 haunted houses and 4 rides if i'm not wrong. Along the way there are other attraction where you can visit, I didn't pay attention to that. Average waiting time for haunted house and rides was approx 40 - 60 min depending on your luck. You may get 20 min waiting time only if you're lucky.

TIP? Pick non peak dates to avoid the crowd or else get express pass. GET DEM'!! Provided you really have the money. Its so tiring to queue for 50min straight with so many people! It's super stuffy and squeezy!

You can try your luck loitering around USS and see whether any kind soul offers you their extra express pass, which is highly unlikely unless it's near closing time eg: 12am? Someone gave us 10x express pass at 12.30AM after we conquered all the rides and haunted house. 

Event lasts from 7pm to 1am. It would be good if you can go in on time if you have no express passes! Enjoy all the rides!
